Luv(sic) Part 5 發行於 2013 年，距離 Nujabes 離世已經三年。這首是系列邁向終局前的第二封信，Shing02 與 Hydeout Productions 在這個階段已經摸索出後續章節的合作方式：以 Nujabes 生前未發表的素材為核心，再由 Hydeout 旗下製作人補完編曲與混音。聽得出來這首在製作上比 Part 4 更穩、更有方向，悲傷已經沉下來，變成另一種更安靜的東西。
Shing02 在這首裡的書寫進入了系列最內省的狀態。前面四部還可以分辨出寫給音樂、寫給戀人、寫給合作夥伴的不同層次，到了 Part 5，這些對象幾乎合而為一。他不再區分愛的對象是誰，而是直接面對「失去之後，那盞燈還在嗎」這個更根本的命題。歌詞中反覆出現的光、燈、夜、星等意象，把整首歌寫得像一場深夜獨白。
Nujabes 1974 年生於東京澀谷，創辦 Hydeout Productions、把 Jazz Hip-Hop 推到國際視野，動畫《Samurai Champloo》原聲帶讓他被世界記住。Part 5 雖由 Hydeout 與 Shing02 在他過世後完成，但歌曲開頭那句直白的「’Til death do us part, and it did」（直到死亡讓我們分開，而它確實做到了）就把整首歌的位置定下來——這不是隱喻，這是 Shing02 親自寫給 Nujabes 的悼詞。閱讀這首歌詞時請慢一點，這封信寫得很安靜，但每一句都很重。
